20 Ministers of Kamal Nath Cabinet Tendered Resignation to Chief Minister Live Updates

The country is immersed in the celebration of Holi today, while Madhya Pradesh has become a political color. Just before Holi, the political events that took place throughout the day on Monday took a new turn by the night. Several ministers who were present after the cabinet meeting convened late at night submitted their resignations to Chief Minister Kamal Nath. In the midst of political turmoil, BJP and Congress have called an important meeting of MLAs on Tuesday. Amid the ongoing political crisis in MP, late night several senior leaders including Congress leader Rahul Gandhi reached 10 Janpath.

The news agency PTI quoted sources as saying that Kamal Nath has been given the freedom to re-constitute the cabinet and elect ministers as per the requirement. Sources close to Kamal Nath say that the MLA who has gone to Bangalore may return to the party.

Phone calls of some MLAs:

Earlier, there were reports of 15 to 20 rebel MLAs from Kamal Nath government reaching Bengaluru. These include many ministers. The phones of all the MLAs are coming off. The Chief Minister Kamal Nath returned to Bhopal from Delhi as soon as the news came. He immediately called the meeting. The ministers then submitted their resignations.

BJP active:

Seeing the signs of rebellion in the Congress, the BJP may bring a no-confidence motion against the Kamal Nath government at the beginning of the assembly session. The BJP has also called a meeting of the legislature party on Tuesday. State BJP spokesperson Rajneesh Aggarwal said, “Congress is seeing this situation today due to its dealings with senior leader Jyotiraditya Scindia and interference of senior leader Digvijay Singh.” The BJP has nothing to do with this.

Assembly Equation:
Madhya Pradesh has 230 assembly seats. Two legislators have passed away. The Congress has 114 MLAs. The figure required for the government is 115. The Congress has the support of four Independents, 2 BSP and one SP MLA. It has a total of 121 MLAs while the BJP has 107 MLAs.
