Six-time world champion MC Mary Kom (51 kg) qualified for the Tokyo Olympics by reaching the semi-finals of the Asian qualifier with an easy win over Irish Magno of the Philippines here on Monday. Second seed Maricom won the qualifier 5–0. Mary Kom won a bronze medal at the 2012 London Olympics, when women’s boxing was first inducted into the league.
